Music training centers and school music classrooms face severe acoustic challenges. When multiple students practice piano at the same time in adjacent rooms, sound leakage occurs between rooms. Teachers cannot accurately identify mistakes in students’ performance. Traditional renovated piano rooms require long construction periods, and dust from renovation will interrupt normal campus operation. Besides, permanent soundproof walls cannot be rearranged flexibly, leading to high costs if the campus layout needs changes later. Piano noise also spreads to public areas and disturbs classes in other rooms.
Application Scenario
The customer arranged multiple modular soundproof piano booths along the campus corridor. Students can book individual booths and practice piano simultaneously or at staggered times. Teachers can give one-on-one lessons inside the booths while other students practice in their separate cabins. These booths serve for daily piano teaching, self-practice and art exam training.
Problems Solved
The independent soundproof cabins block sound transmission between piano rooms and avoid cross interference. Each booth forms an isolated acoustic space, so teaching and practice in different cabins will not disturb each other. Prefabricated modular booths can be installed quickly on site without large-scale civil construction, shortening the whole project cycle. The cabins can be freely arranged, disassembled and relocated if the campus layout changes, greatly cutting reconstruction costs. They also contain piano sound inside cabins to keep the corridor and other classrooms quiet, maintaining a stable teaching environment.
